Pokemon Spirits of the Storm 是为 TARC 2 比赛制作的原创短篇改版，完整流程约 3～8 小时。故事发生在繁忙的海港城市 Porta Bella：帅哥与莉拉原本只是进行例行检查，却被卷入一场牵涉城市街道与周边森林的谜团。

在调查中，帅哥突然获得了预见未来的能力。玩家既要走访居民、解决问题、寻找线索，也要利用提前掌握的敌方行动安排战斗。作品将侦探故事和战术设计结合，以一段规模较小但完整的冒险展开剧情。

全双打战斗与行动预览

本作采用全双打设计，团队拥有多部双打改版的制作经验。开发介绍中列出了负责人 kumatora，以及负责战斗设计和平衡的 Prince Fluff。

核心机制 Turn Preview（回合预览）受到《杀戮尖塔》等提供充分敌方信息的策略游戏启发：

• 战斗中可查看宝可梦的速度行动顺序。
• 按肩键可查看对手下一步选择的招式及其目标。
• 已知敌方行动后，再决定集火、保护、换位或其他应对方式，重点转向执行与资源分配。

队伍成长与城市调查

帅哥开局只有少量伙伴，甚至没有准备精灵球。新的队伍成员和强化资源主要来自探索城市、帮助居民与完成他们的问题。

随着调查推进，你可以招募新伙伴、获得更多招式、道具与特性，再根据战斗需求调整阵容。游戏提供 三种难度模式及专门设计的队伍，让玩家按适合自己的强度体验故事。

Porta Bella 的居民和支线事件同时承担了叙事与成长功能：帮助某位市民不只会获得线索，也可能改变之后可采用的战术。适合喜欢双打配合、明确敌方行动信息及短篇剧情的玩家。
